About goodwood
It started in 2005 in Louisville, Kentucky, with good wood. Goodwood purchased the Bluegrass Brewing Company and rebranded as Goodwood in 2015. Turns out Kentucky bourbon barrels create the perfect vessel for aging more than just bourbon…we believed what’s good for bourbon could be good for beer too. Barrel aging beer creates bold flavors, creative new profiles and a higher ABV, while simultaneously paying homage to Kentucky’s iconic distilling legacy. Our core beers feature a crisp lager, citrus IPA, bourbon barrel stout, peach sour, and a walnut brown ale.
Since 2015, we have continued working on honing our craft while also expanding into new ventures. In August of 2019, we opened our first full service restaurant in Frankfort, KY. Since then we have added four additional locations including: O’Fallon MO, Lexington KY, Owensboro KY, and most recently, a second location in Louisville on Whiskey Row.
Our menu focuses on elevated southern staples that you’d often find in a classic Old Kentucky home. Items like our fried green tomatoes, chicken + waffles, and blackened catfish keep our customers always coming back for more. Our unique restaurant energy is meant to foster a welcoming atmosphere for sports fans, live music lovers and those looking to celebrate all of life’s big moments.
We’re proud of the community we have built within our restaurants, while also keeping up with the latest craft beer initiatives. Our rotating seasonal drafts have continued to be a success within our locations as well as around the cities we occupy. From the fan favorite Blood Orange Blonde, to our Winter Hibernation Ale - we always have something to pair with the current season!

HOW DOES THE WRISTBAND WORK?
Its super easy. But we understand the first time can be a little scary.
Step 1: When you arrive you will open a tab with your ID and credit card.
Step 2: You’ll be given your wristband.
Step 3: Enjoy yourself!
Step 4: You have two options to close out:
1) Simply walk out and we’ll take care of closing your tab out with a 20% gratuity.
2) Visit the check-in desk to manually close out your tab and provide the gratuity of your choice.
If at any point you’d like to review your tab, just come on up to the check-in desk or ask a bartender and we’ll be happy to get you squared away. Your receipt is sent via text to your provided mobile number.
Be sure to confirm your phone number by responding "YES" in order to receive your receipt!
I HAVE A $1 CHARGE ON MY CARD, BUT I DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING.
All guests open tabs upon arrival to use our wristband payment system and a $1 preauthorization is held on your card. If you don’t end up purchasing anything, this hold goes away within a few business days. Please contact your bank for questions regarding this timing.
